Happy Days are Here!!!

Ok, so this has been quite a whirl wind trying to start my very own business with so many things to consider and so many steps to take, but I truly hope the end result will be well worth the wait...

When I decided to start my own business, I knew I was struggling with some things in my life that I realized were very common for alot of women. How to raise a very young family with a hot meal on the table, the laundry folded & put away and still remain the same hot "sex kitten" my husband seems to remember. I founnd that most days it was pretty hard to go out feeling like anything other than "just a mommy." There are many days I go with little or no make-up, covered in mucous or food stains and getting into anything other than a pair of comfy sweats seemed nearly impossible. Who is ever really prepared for hoping for a nice, hot shower instead of a good glass of wine to end your day? Don't get me wrong, I really love my family and wouldn't trade them for anything, REALLY!! BUT, I realize and seem to be repeatedly reminded, when one of my kids is throwing themselves on the floor in the middle of the mall for all to see, that "THIS IS JUST A SEASON Traci, you will get through this!! You will see your friends again, someday." And just maybe someday, in the not-so-near future, you will even look back lovingly and fondly and wish for these days again. (Hah, that sounds even more hilarious out loud!!)

But for now I need to have something, most days, that is just for me. Something that I don't mind doing until the wee hours of the night, after the kids and my husband have gone to bed. Not dwelling upon the hours of sleep I will not get for another night. Something that when I finally drag myself from my bed in the morning, I won't really mind because I thoroughly enjoyed putting my heart and my soul into something other than my kids so people could enjoy my creations too.
